26. LA Confidential

This episode was supposed to go out on Christmas to tie into the “Bloody Christmas” aspect of the plot.  Obviously, that didn’t happen. But Easter is just as good right? We thought so!

Also, our unplanned hiatus was due to Kaylia’s eye problems. Hopefully with the new medications she is on the road to eye recovery. At least for now…

In this episode… Kaylia sets a new world record for recapping the biggest plot EVER while coining the phrase “not in the recap”, there is at least one Star Trek, Breaking Bad, and Gone Girl shout out, and oh yeah… a three minute Star Wars rant (spoilers).  Join Jennifer and Kaylia for a discussion of LA Confidential… and a heads up on a new way to get involved.

Show Notes:

In the opening, Kaylia mentions the Buffering the Vampire Slayer podcast as well as the Mission Log podcast.

Also… for some fun… check out the reboot / redo attempts of LA Confidential and let us know if you agree with our assertion that NO!
